- Over the last 37 years I’ve earned my marketing & sales stripes, initially within Newbridge Networks where in 12 years I progressed from Market Researcher to Sales Director. After this I joined Mitel for 2 years as acting General Manager for Germany. In these 14 years of “corporate life” I worked on many proposals and tenders – the largest of which was heading a bid team of 8 people to win a multi-million Euro pan-European telecoms network.
- Since 2003, running my own successful business, I’ve helped UK, European and North American clients across all industry sectors, solve their marketing and sales challenges.
- I authored the Guide 2 Tendering for public sector contracts for the WDA (now the Welsh Government) – part of a programme to encourage small businesses to participate more in tenders. I had to win a tender to do this!
- I’ve written and submitted hundreds of competitive bids ranging from proposals from £250 for a morning’s LinkedIn training, to framework contract tenders for lead generation services valued at over £50,000 each. These have been for corporate and public sector projects for my own and clients’ businesses. This has allowed me to develop my response methodology with a proven track record of success which I’d love to share with you, so that your business can thrive too.
- Outside of work, I’m very much a family person. I love music, I support the Welsh national team in all things rugby union and enjoy the odd glass of red too!
- I’m mum to Sootie and Snowie – my maverick feline furballs. And, as a carer, I’m passionate about championing the great work families do to support their loved ones living with dementia and terminal cancer.
